If you are thinking of applying for a place at Nower Hill High School for your child, in the first instance, please attend our main Open Day at the end of September. Additionally, visits from prospective parents are welcomed during the Autumn term; please contact Student Services at the school should you wish to book a visit.

For children who are due to join Year 7 at High School in September 2017, the following are key dates for the admissions appeal process if you wish to appeal against a decision whereby your child was not offered a place at the academy:

 

Secondary Transfer – children starting Year 7 in September 2017 – how to appeal

If you wish to appeal against the decision not to offer your child a place at the school, for your appeal to be heard in the main round of appeals it must be submitted by Thursday 13th April 2017 . To submit an appeal please complete the appeal form, which is available from the Harrow Council website (http://www.harrow.gov.uk/info/200129/admissions/408/appeals-_school_admissions) or from the Harrow Council Admissions Service (education@harrow.gov.uk). Appeals will be heard during the summer term 2017.

An appeal has to be made in writing, setting out the grounds on which it is made, in full. You must include a full description of your case. Additional information and evidence supporting your appeal and its grounds should be submitted as soon as possible and before the appeal hearing. Please note that any evidence or information submitted on the date of the appeal may not be considered.
